Heidi Klum, Miley Cyrus and More: Which Celebs Upgraded Their Halloween Costumes in 2013?

Heidi Klum is the undisputed Queen of Halloween, always finding a way to top whatever outlandish costume she wore the year before. So how do you top a bedazzled Cleopatra? By dressing as a (creepily realistic) old woman, apparently!

Klum wasn't the only star who tried to up the ante with her Halloween costume, though: Julianne Hough, Miley Cyrus and Neil Patrick Harris all made headlines with their latest Halloween looks.
So which stars upgraded their costumes from 2012 to 2013 (Sandra Bullock, we say)? And who downgraded? Click the gallery and weigh in!

Paris Hilton Transforms Into a Mermaid, Fairy, Bride and Gladiator on Halloween

OK, Paris Hilton, we're paying attention now.

On Thursday, Oct. 31, the 32-year-old went through a slew of Halloween costumes—including a mermaid, a fairy, a bride (!) and a gladiator—posting photos of each look across the social media sphere. (As in, multiple pics to Twitter, Instagram and Pheed from mutliple angles. Facebook, Vine and Keek must feel neglected!)

Of course, Ms. Hilton didn't celebrate Halloween for just one day. Last Friday, Oct. 25, she was Paris Barbie. The following night at the Playboy Mansion's Halloween Party, she wore a teddy bear onesie à la Miley Cyrus at the 2013 MTV VMAs.

By Wednesday, Oct. 30, the former reality star had moved on to a lush leopard look. She also came face-to-face with the inspiration behind one of her costumes—Miley herself! The Queen of Twerk obviously wouldn't go dressed in her own likeness (hence her fierce Lil' Kim at the 1999 MTV VMAs look), but she did pose for snaps with leopard-print Paris and mask-wearing Snoop Dogg.

It seems from the smiling pics that Miley was fine with Paris' impersonation. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, after all. As for Lil' Kim? She was impressed with M.C.'s costume, telling E! News the singer "did me very well" and looked "GORGEOUS!"

Can you feel the love, people? Well, brace yourselves, because we're moving on to November--otherwise known as the month Miley turns 21.

Whether it's as a sexy sailer, pretty princess or Madonna, Paris Hilton loves having herself some Halloween fun. Check out a bevy of her bold and beautiful costumes.

Awkward Alert! Rihanna and Karrueche Tran Share the Same Halloween Costume Idea—See the Pic!

By: Bruna Nessif

Well, looky what we have here.

It's very likely that more than one person will have the same costume idea on Halloween, but this one's extra juicy because these festive twins just so happen to be Rihanna and Karrueche Tran—two women who have had major roles in Chris Brown's life.

The two celebs who have played tug-of-war with the singer's heart over the past few years each dressed up, in their words, as a "chola" for the holiday. Was it a coincidence made in Hollywood heaven? Hmm, maaaaaybe.

However, the twinning didn't happen on the same night. Tran, Breezy's current girlfriend, posted a photo of her thuggish look on Sunday, Oct. 27, apparently getting a head start on dressing up for a costume party.

"Chola," she simply captioned the black and white photo, which showed the young model wearing baggy pants with her underwear showing, a crop top and a flannel shirt with only the top button buttoned. ("Cholo/a" is a sometimes derogatory term.)

Halloween night, RiRi teased fans with a prep photo of her costume, showing her topless body getting painted in gray. Soon afterward, the Barbados beauty revealed that she self-described as "Zombie chola."

One of the many photos of Rihanna's costume showed the singer in Tommy Hilfiger boxers, sagging pants, a tiny bra-like top and an open flannel shirt. She also wore big hoop earrings and a bandana in her hair. She clarified, "My chola name was #ShyGirl."

Karrueche, on the other hand, opted to go mythical last night, dressing as Aphrodite, the Goddess of Love.

Ellen DeGeneres vs. Holly Robinson Peete: Whose Nicki Minaj Halloween Costume Was Better?

By: Cinya Burton

Ellen DeGeneres, you've got some competition! More than 70 percent of you thought the talk show host's Halloween costume of Nicki Minaj looked better than actually the rapper herself. Now it seems there's another celeb tossing her, er, colorful blond wig into the ring.

On Thursday's The Wendy Williams Show, Holly Robinson Peete showed up dressed as the "Spaceships" singer. She opted for a platinum and pink wig, a lot of neon color eye shadow and a skintight leopard print body suit with extra padding in the butt to create the rapper's famous curves.

"I think she's like a hip hop Jessica Rabbit and she's so fun to dress up as!" the actress said. "But how does she sit in this booty though?"

Good question. Ellen, on the other hand accented a different set of curves in her costume. She had a top that flaunted an eyebrow-raising amount of underboob. Ironically, when the rapper first wore the look on Ellen's show she had a near nip slip.

We're still leaning towards Ellen on this one because it's so spot-on, but what do you say?

Lindsay Lohan vs. Kelly Osbourne: Who Wore the Carrie Halloween Costume Better?!

By: Brett Malec

Two celebs who didn't dress as Miley Cyrus for Halloween this year? Lindsay Lohan and Kelly Osbourne!

The 27-year-old actress and 29-year-old Fashion Police cohost both went as horror movie icon Carrie for the haunted holiday last night.

Lohan hosted a Connecticut Halloween party with Floyd Mayweather in a white dress and tiara with just a little bit of fake blood on her. Meanwhile, Osbourne doused herself in fake blood while sporting a white dress dark wig and tiara.

Mayweather tweeted a pic of him (dressed as Freddy Krueger) and Lohan, writing, "Carrie (@lindsaylohan) and me as Freddy hanging out at the best Halloween party I've ever been to at MGM Foxwoods."

Osbourne also shared pics of her Carrie costume on Instagram, writing, "#LetTheBloodPouringBegin! This feels disgusting!"

She also made sure to get her dad's stamp of approval. "Just stopped by to make sure my dad like my costume!!!!! He loved it! Yaaaay," Osbourne shared with a bloody pic of her and dad Ozzy Osbourne.

But it sounds like Osbourne is semi-regretting all the fake blood she put on last night. She tweeted this morning, "I'm working with a children's company today and I'm still covered in blood! It won't come off! Please don't fire me!"

So who do you think did a better Halloween Carrie costume, Lohan or Osbourne? Sound off below!

Lindsay Lohan Arrives Late to Halloween Gig, but "She Did Well" as Party Host

Lindsay Lohan was part of the Halloween fright in Connecticut Halloween night.

The 27-year-old actress hosted a costume party with Floyd Mayweather at the MGM Grand at Foxwoods Resort and Casino for the spooky holiday, and although there was a bit of an issue, the night seemed to be an overall success.

LiLo, who was wearing in a white dress and tiara with just a little bit of fake blood for her Carrie costume, arrived late to the event and only walked the carpet for "about ten seconds," a source tells E! News.

Who was a better Carrie? Kelly Osbourne or LiLo?

"Casino employees were disappointed she was late and basically skipped the carpet, but as a host she did well, judging the costume contest and interacting with guests," the source said. "I think overall the casino was very pleased with the outcome of the event and is looking forward to more opportunities in the future."

And Lindsay made sure to stay on track with her sobriety. The source also mentioned Lohan did not drink alcohol during the event, "Her rider stated that there was to be no alcohol for her. Water and juice only."

A source close to Lindsay denies reports claiming the casino is hoping to recieve a good amount of their money back due to her tardiness are not true. The source adds that Lohan was paid in full (and in the six-figure range!) and stayed 45 minutes past her contracted time.
The Foxwoods Casino had no comment.

The celeb posted some photos from the occasion on her website and wrote, "too much fun last night in costume. my co-host floyd mayweather was freddy so we made a great pair. what did everyone dress up as? anyone else go scary? send me your halloween costumes w the hashtag #lilohalloween. i'll pick out and post my faves. xo."
