Ellen DeGeneres vs. Holly Robinson Peete: Whose Nicki Minaj Halloween Costume Was Better?

Ellen DeGeneres, you've got some competition! More than 70 percent of you thought the talk show host's Halloween costume of Nicki Minaj looked better than actually the rapper herself. Now it seems there's another celeb tossing her, er, colorful blond wig into the ring.

On Thursday's The Wendy Williams Show, Holly Robinson Peete showed up dressed as the "Spaceships" singer. She opted for a platinum and pink wig, a lot of neon color eye shadow and a skintight leopard print body suit with extra padding in the butt to create the rapper's famous curves.

"I think she's like a hip hop Jessica Rabbit and she's so fun to dress up as!" the actress said. "But how does she sit in this booty though?"

Good question. Ellen, on the other hand accented a different set of curves in her costume. She had a top that flaunted an eyebrow-raising amount of underboob. Ironically, when the rapper first wore the look on Ellen's show she had a near nip slip.

We're still leaning towards Ellen on this one because it's so spot-on, but what do you say?

They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Well in that case, Ellen DeGeneres is obsessed with Nicki Minaj. 

The host stepped out for her Halloween special in the exact same outfit the "I Wanna Be With You" singer recently wore as a guest on her show—and we mean exact. Somehow Ellen managed to get it right down to the curvy body and slip of underboob. Whoever does her hair and make-up deserves an Emmy award!

But here's the hysterical thing about this TV gag—we actually think Ellen makes an amazing Nicki. The blonde locks and black roots suit her fair skin, the "boob job" somehow works on her slight frame, and we love her with a little extra junk in the trunk.

While we in no way endorse the massive plastic surgery, Ellen might consider dressing a bit more like Nicki's hype girl from time to time. Who knows, maybe Nicki will turn the tables and have Ellen on her show. Now that's a tour we'd pay good money to see.

Nicki Minaj Wears Nipple Pasties, Fishnet Tights and a Thong for Halloween

Nicki Minaj knows how to get people talking. The rapper shared a series of sexy selfies via Instagram on Thursday, Oct. 31, where she showed off her famous curves in fishnet tights and a leather thong. The "High School" rapper exposed both breasts but covered her nipples with cross-shaped pasties.
"Officer Minaj," the 30-year-old musician captioned in one shot. "Who wants to get cuffed?"

The former American Idol judge snapped the pictures using her iPhone. Notably, the device was protected by a custom case that featured the rapper's image from her 2010 album, Pink Friday.

Minaj hit up the "Hot97 extravaganza" at Katra Lounge in New York City, where she hung out with radio host Angie Martinez. According to one caption, Minaj was "drunk as f--k."

The blonde star (real name: Onika Tanya Maraj ) knew her costume was going to cause a stir. "Don't get ya panties in a bunch," she wrote in one Instagram caption.

Earlier that afternoon, Ellen DeGeneres poked fun at Minaj's boob-baring style on her eponymous daytime talk show. "This year I decided to go as something really scary—half naked. Of course I'm Nicki Minaj," the hilarious host told the audience. "Nicki was on the show a few weeks ago. Her shirt was not. She took my show from a PG rating to a Double D."

"I've got the whole look down. I even have the same shoes on. I think I do. I can't see my feet, but I assume I do," DeGeneres continued. "I don't normally wear things that are this sexy. But when you're dressed as Nicky Minaj, I guess you have to. So here are my boom booms and back here is my ‘Super Bass.'"

DeGeneres then pointed to her prosthetic breasts and quipped, "In case you're wondering, these are real. This is real. It's all real!"
